1 Chronicles 29:14, “But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.”
What a thought! Who are we compared to God? In reality, we are nothing. We have nothing to offer God because everything we are and have cake from God. God still allows us to worship Him and serve Him.
After all He has done for us, it truly is our reasonable service to live our lives for Him. Romans 12:1, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” Jesus died for us when He didn’t have to. We are so undeserving of such mercy and grace that God gives to us. Who am I to deserve such love?
Who am I that The King would bleed and die for?
Who am I that He would pray, “Not my will, thine Lord?”
The answer I may never know
Why He ever loved me so
That to an old rugged cross He’d go
For who am I?
