II Chronicles 13:10, “But as for us, the Lord is our God, and we have not forsaken him; and the priests, which minister unto the Lord , are the sons of Aaron, and the Levites wait upon their business:”
What a great statement in this verse, “We have not forsaken him.” This should be our goal in our life. We ought never to forsake God, for He has never forsaken us. Hebrews 13:5 says, “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”
God gave us His only Son to die and he deserves the best from us. It has been said that Jesus gave His life for us, and the least we can do is give our life back to Him. We should never forsake Him, and we should live our life for Him. We ought to give God what He truly deserves, and we should never forsake Him.
