II Chronicles 31:21, “And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart, and prospered.”
Anything that we do in our life, especially that which is done for the Lord, should be done with all our heart. This verse is speaking of King Hezekiah. Hezekiah was a good king. II Chronicles 31:20 says, “And thus did Hezekiah throughout all Judah, and wrought that which was good and right and truth before the Lord his God.”
Hezekiah poured his heard into doing that which was right, and he prospered because of it. Doing the right thing and serving the Lord is not always easy. If it was easy, everyone would do it. It takes work, but if we do so with all our heart like Hezekiah, we too can prosper. Colossians 3:23, “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;” Let’s do our best each and every day to serve the Lord with all of our heart.
