Ezekiel 42:20, “He measured it by the four sides: it had a wall round about, five hundred reeds long, and five hundred broad, to make a separation between the sanctuary and the profane place.”
How true it is that we need a separation between the sanctuary and the profane place. Too many people are trying to make the church like the world to draw crowds. It will draw crowds, but it will not point people to Jesus. When the church looks no different than the world, there is no reason for them so stay since it isn’t any different than what they were already doing.
I don’t understand why so many churches are changing to look like rock concerts. The church must be different. It must be a separated place. It must be a Christ-like place. It should be a holy place. Let us do our part in keeping a separation between the sanctuary and the profane place.
