Acts 28:28, “Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.”
During this time, many Jews thought that Salvation was only offered to the Jews. They did not think that the Gentiles should hear and receive the Gospel. Praise the Lord that the gift of Salvation is offered to all. Titus 2:11 says, “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men.” I am sick and tired of Calvinist taking Salvation and saying that is only offered to the elect and not everyone. Then, they twist every verse that disproves their belief to somehow make it “support” them. Salvation has been sent to everyone. Jesus died on the cross and took the beating that no man has ever experienced to pay for the sins of the whole world. John 1:29 states, “The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” I John 2:2 also says, “And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.” The world means everyone, not just the elect.
I am so glad that Salvation has been sent to the whole world. I’m glad that the gift of eternal life is so easy for one to receive. The way I explain it to people is that God made it easy because He wanted everyone to be able to receive it. Let’s never take the gift of Salvation for granted. If you have never received it. Please visit “The Bible Way to Heaven” tab at the top of this page. If you have received, let’s tell someone else how they can receive it.
