Exodus 31:2-6, “See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah: And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, To devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, And in cutting of stones, to set them , and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship. And I, behold, I have given with him Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan: and in the hearts of all that are wise hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded thee;”
God has a plan for everything that he wants accomplished in this life. God doesn’t just use his power and POOF His plan is accomplished. God chooses to use us to accomplish His plan. God doesn’t have a plan that he does not equip us to achieve. Now, there are times where we limit ourselves by sin and lack of commitment, but if we are willing to be used, God will use us. Bezaleel and Aholiab were just normal people, but God equipped them with the necessary skills and knowledge to accomplish his tasks.
What is it that God wants you to accomplish? There will be times where we know what God wants us to do, but we don’t think that we can do it. In reality, that is true. We can’t do it, at least not on our own. However, if God has something for us to accomplish, he will equip us and empower us to accomplish it. Let us strive to be usable to God, and let us never hinder God’s work in our lives by our sin. Allow God to give you the skills and accomplish His plan for your life.
Amen!!! See….I read your posts….I just never comment 🙂
