Deuteronomy 20:1, “When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the Lord thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.”
This a fantastic truth. The children of Israel were being told that when they go to battle, they were not to fear. Even if the enemy seemed so great and they seemed to small, they were not to fear.
Many times in life, it seems that so many things are against us. I’m not talking about when many people are against us because we are rebelling against them. That’s not what I’m saying at all. I’m talking about those times in life when Satan just attacks us with one blow after another. When the enemy looks so great, we are not to fear. God is with us. God has been helping His children since the beginning of time. Farmers insurance has a slogan, “We’ve seems almost everything, so we know how to cover almost anything.” Well, God has seen everything, and He knows how to help us through anything. Remember I John 4:4, “Because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” Let us learn to never fear because God is with us.
