Sanctify Yourselves

Joshua 3:5, “And Joshua said unto the people, Sanctify yourselves: for to morrow the Lord will do wonders among you.”

Moses has now passed off the scene, and Joshua is now the leader appointed by God to lean the Israelites. Joshua knows that God was going to do something amazing, but he also knew that God wouldn’t do it unless they were ready. Joshua told the People to sanctify themselves. Sanctify means to set apart as holy. Joshua knew that in order for God to do wonders among them, they had to be right with Him.

I don’t know about you, but I want to see God do amazing things. I don’t want to just hear about it. I want to experience it for myself. In order for God to do wonders in our life, we must sanctify ourself. We need to set ourselves aside as something holy that God can use. Ask God if there’s anything in your life that you need to get right and allow God to do wonders in your life.
