The Lord Delivered

Joshua 21:44-45, “And the Lord gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the Lord delivered all their enemies into their hand. There failed not ought of any good thing which the Lord had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.”

The children of Israel are now in the promised land. To be honest, the Israelites didn’t look like the most mighty people. However, they had God on their side. They didn’t conquer the promised land because of their own abilities. They conquered because God delivered their enemies into their hand.

That is why we should never fear as Christians. We ought to trust in God that He will deliver us in our difficult situations and battle in life. God always takes care of His children if they will let Him. Do not fear because God is always with you. You can read in the second part of the passage that no good thing from God failed to come. Everything came to pass. God keeps His promises, and He is able to deliver us.
