My Lips Shall Praise Thee

Psalm 63:3, “Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.”

God is really good to us. If we just stop for a moment and think, we will realize how good God really is. I think we all know that God has blessed us, but do we praise Him like we should?

Psalm 18:3 says, “I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies,” and Psalm 48:1 reads, “Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.” When was the last time we just praised and thanked the Lord for all He’s done? I would hope that would be today, but if not, the day is not over.

Praise is important to God. The word “praise” is found in over 200 verses in the Bible. If praise is important to God, it should be important to us. It should be a part of our daily lives. If you haven’t praised the Lord today, don’t end today without doing so. Then, in the days to come, let us remember to praise the Lord each and every day. He is certainly worthy of it.
