Beside Me There is No God

Isaiah 44:6, “Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.”

This verse clearly states that there is only one God. The question I want to present today is, “Does our life say that?” When people look at us, are they able to see who our God or would they have questions? Would they know that we are a Christian serving the Lord or would they be surprised to hear that?

Let us strive today to live in such a way that people can see that we serve the Lord and that He is our God. It’s not for the purpose of saying, “Look at me,” but we should strive to have a good testimony. We should want to live a life that is different from this world. We should want to be different so we can make a difference. How can we expect to tell other about Christ and Salvation if we are no different than them? There ought to be a visible difference between a Christian and a lost person. Let us focus today on making sure we live to serve God. May our actions speak for themselves that there is one God, and He is our God.
