Isaiah 53:6, “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.”
This passage in Isaiah is a prophecy of the crucifixion of Christ. Today’s post is one of praise and thankfulness. God’s Word says that we are all like sheep who have gone astray. I am so thankful that God looked beyond our faults and failures and still went to the cross. I’m so glad that Jesus did not let our sin and our shortcomings hinder Him from dying for us. I just want to take today and thank God for my Salvation.
It’s been over 19 years since I bowed by head and accepted Christ as my Savior. It was the greatest decision I have ever made in my life. If you have NEVER made that decision or you are unsure if you have, please click HERE to read how you can make that decision today.
If you have made that decision, do not take your salvation for granted. We can never thank God enough for saving us, but that should not keep us from thanking Him each and every day for doing so. Let us take a few moments today to just praise and thank God for for the fact He “laid on Him the iniquity of us all.”
