The Lord Liveth

Jeremiah 23:7, “[7] Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that they shall no more say, The Lord liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;”

This verse says that there is coming a day when people will say that God is not alive. My friend, it appears that day has come. Everywhere we turn, we see people trying to take God out. We see it in our schools, we see in our government, and we see it in simple things as the pledge of allegiance and Christmas. We cannot control what the world does, but we can control what we do.

Let us determine today that we will take a stand for God. Let us determine that we will not personally take God out of anything. Let us never back down to the opposition this world gives. God is not dead. He is still living. May our life be a living testimony of that God has always and will always be alive.
