There Will I Plead With You

Ezekiel 20:35-36, “And I will bring you into the wilderness of the people, and there will I plead with you face to face. [36] Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I plead with you, saith the Lord God.”

When I read this verse, it is really sad to me. God said that He was going to plead with people to try and get them to live right. In all honesty, this should never be the case. God should never have to plead with us.

If we just stop and think about all that God has done for us, we would be ashamed if God ever had to plead with us to live for Him. If God tells us to do something, we should do. If God tells us not to do something we should not do it. That sounds so simple because it is!

It is very sad that God has to plead with many Christians for them to surrender to do what God wants. This should never be the case, but in reality, it is.

Let us determine today to make it to where God does not have to plead with us. Let us surrender to do whatever it is that he asks of us without resistance. God has blessed our lives so much, and He paid the way for us to spend an eternity in Heaven. The least that we can do is live our life for Him.
