Luke 22:31-32, “[31] And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: [32] But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.”
As I came across these verses this morning, I was reminded that Jesus is FOR me! Many people look at the trials and hardships they go through in life and think God is against them. That is not the case. God is FOR you! He wants what is best for you.
However, if we are in sin, God’s Word says that He will chasten and correct us which is a good thing as well. If we are living righteously though, we will still go through trials. God uses these to increase our faith so that we can become and better Christian and help others.
Let us be sure today that our outlook on our trials are correct. Let us realize that God is for us, not against us. Let us allow God to increase our faith through these trials, so that we can be a better Christian.
