A Man Can Receive Nothing, Except it Be Given Him from Heaven

John 3:27, “[27] John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.”

Let us take this verse today as a reminder that everything we have comes from God. Nothing that we have is because of what we have done or because of who we are. Though we may work for much of what we have, it is God that has given us the job and the ability to work.

Let us take some time today to thank God for the many blessings He has given us in our life. Let us never take for granted all that God has given us, for He could take it away at any moment.
