God is Greater Than Man

Job 33:12-13, “Behold, in this thou art not just: I will answer thee, that God is greater than man. Why dost thou strive against him?”

It doesn’t take much to admit and acknowledge that God is greater than man. He created the universe and everything therein. No one is greater than God. He is all knowing. God created us, and He knows what is best for us. Why is it that people want to strive against Him? Why do people want to fight God’s plan for their life? Try to think of a time when God failed one of His children. You can’t because God has and will never fail. He is worthy of our trust and our lives.

Why would I want to try to do things my own way when the God Who created me already has a plan for my life? There is no reason. God’s way is the best way. I Corinthians 2:9 says, “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” God is all powerful, and we should treat Him as all powerful. If we want to live the best life possible, live according to God’s will. Don’t strive with God, for God is greater than man.
